I’ve been in the beauty industry for 10 years (longer if you include me doing my friends hair and makeup for prom, homecoming and other events in Highschool). I started at Greystone Salon and Spa in 2011 as an assistant, when I graduated from Highschool in  May of 2012 I didn't give myself much of a summer. I started at Pinnacle Institute of Cosmetology in August and graduated in September of 2013. I was able to get a stylist position at the salon I had been assisting at and was able to build a clientele of my favorite services, balayage, blondes, rich brunettes & of course upstyling and makeup.

While you might refer to me as your makeup artist or hair stylist, I have a few other titles I’m very proud of. I’m a wife & a mother! I have been married for 4 years and my husband and I have a precious baby boy named Winston, who is our world.  My husband and I were lucky enough to meet at Greystone; we worked side by side for 5ish years & started to date, got engaged (at the salon) and then got married in the fall of 2018! I had my sweet Winston on March 12th, 2020. He brought so much happiness to our family’s lives during a time of uncertainty, anxiety and worry.  In the summer of 2021 I was able to do something I’ve always wanted to do; open my own business, Hiphiphairraye. I stopped doing color and haircuts & took a chance on solely doing bridal and special event styling. I can’t tell you how happy it has made me.
